Counselor's Corner

Hello!

I am so excited to be at AHS serving students as the high school counselor.  I am beginning my 18th year in education.  I was raised in Alvord, and most of my family still reside here.  The joy of my life is my son, Hudson.  He is 14 years old and is a freshman at AHS!  I enjoy spending time with friends and family, watching Hudson play sports, listening to music, traveling and going to the lake.  I am so grateful for this opportunity to serve the staff, students, and community of Alvord, and I am looking forward to a great year.

Seniors will sign up for Going Merry, where they will have access to many national scholarships.  All of the local scholarships do not come through the office until the spring.  I will updated scholarships on the scholarship table, print copies and post local scholarships on the scholarship wall at AHS, and email to student's school email accounts.  You can find the scholarship table here:
